John’s career has been evenly divided between software start-ups and boutique consultancies, so he understands deeply what it takes to be successful in each of these contexts. At big river technologies, John’s focus is on building a close-knit family of software delivery experts that are passionate about teamwork, technology, innovation, critical thinking, problem solving and most importantly, enabling client success.

As a business and technology consultant with over 20 years of experience, Rob is known for expertly guiding large enterprise application development projects. he has been responsible for professional service delivery, led operations and had overall P&L accountability. He enjoys working with clients and organizations across the globe and is excited to build and grow high performing agile teams. Having held delivery leadership positions in top consulting firms and agencies, his passion is to help people and organizations rapidly deliver on business goals in a balanced and sustainable way.
Chief Revenue Officer
Over 30 years in Enterprise IT sales, sales management and consulting – 25 years as Founder and CEO of Stantive Technologies Group Inc. Stantive delivers Digital Transformation solutions to mid-size and Global 1000 clients around the world with our flagship OrchestraCMS Digital Experience Platform (DXP). In March 2019, Stantive was sold to Bridgeline Digital and Doug took on the the role of CRO for big river technologies inc.
Doug has served on the boards of the Ontario Research and Development Challenge Fund (ORDCF), Presidents Advisory Council for the Royal Society of Canada, Queen’s University Innovation Council, Kingston Economic Development Corporation, and was awarded the Kingston Chamber of Commerce ‘Business Person of the Year’ award in 2000 and the Kingston Whig-Standard Businessman of the Year award in 2010.
Manager, Human Resources
Lindsay drives Human Resource and other administrative practices at big river technologies inc. Having been a strategic human resource professional for over 15 years, she has proven ability to manage and grow relationships while developing streamlined, fair, and reliable people practices. Lindsay’s areas of focus include human resource policy and practices, payroll, benefits administration, and other administrative matters. In the coming year’s Lindsay looks forward to continue to support the growth of big river technologies inc. and it’s people.
At big river, Angela leads the Analysis & Change practice and is an expert in applying Agile methodologies to project management & delivery. With more than 20 years of broad business experience and senior leadership, Angela has delivered numerous consumer facing technology products and business launches. She has extensive experience in business analysis and change management. She has analyzed and implemented complex technology migrations with globally distributed technology companies.
Business Analyst and Project Manager
With more than 15 years of experience in business analysis and project management, Lobna has delivered numerous projects across a variety of industries. In Healthcare, she has consulted on large-scale, time-sensitive technical projects. With government enterprises and international business partners, she led multiple teams to deliver success. She provides value to clients by applying innovative approaches to business analysis and project management – within aggressive timelines and budgets. Lobna has a PhD in Computer Science and applies Agile and waterfall methodologies to project management.
Talent Acquisition Lead
Tom drives recruitment at big river and assembles world-class teams to deliver successful business outcomes for our clients. He has 20 years of experience of recruitment in finance, technology and other sectors, with a strong emphasis in staffing for software product and consulting companies.
Utilizing a collaborative and strategic approach, he successfully builds global distributed teams to continually meet client deliverables and exceed targets. Within the next year, Tom and his team will grow big river to 200 employees by leading successful recruitment campaigns and company-wide initiatives.
